Instructions for the extension's main features and settings.
01 / Use the popup
Clicking the extension icon opens the popup by default. Switch between the Statistics and History tabs, select a date, and review that day's statistics or history. The History tab also supports search.
Under Popup in Settings, choose whether to show the popup or open the full extension page directly. When the popup is enabled, you can also choose whether Statistics or History appears first.
02 / View and search history
Open History, select a date from the calendar, and click the hourly chart to locate a time period. Use the search box to find saved records by title, domain, or URL.
Repeat visits can be grouped together. Open the visit details to see when each visit started and ended, along with its active duration when available. Records are stored in the extension's own local database, and automatic cleanup is off by default.
03 / Review browsing statistics
Open Statistics and select Day, Week, or Month under Browsing to review browsing time, average duration, visit count, and number of websites. Websites shows each site's share of browsing time and the Top 10.
Select a domain under Lookup to see its visit count, browsing time, hourly distribution, or weekly and monthly heatmaps.
Browsing time is an estimate of active use. History imported from before installation does not include browsing time.
04 / Clear history and browsing data
Open Cleanup to enable automatic cleanup and choose a retention period, or select a time range for a one-time manual cleanup. Automatic cleanup can retain the most recent 7, 14, 30, 90, or 180 days of records.
Some cleanup operations also remove Chrome's own browsing history. Clearing cookies, cache, or other browsing data requires the relevant permission. Check the selected data types and time range before proceeding.
05 / Configure domain lists
Add a domain to the Do Not Record list on the Cleanup page to stop saving future visits to that site. Existing records must be deleted separately.
Add a domain to the Keep During Automatic Cleanup list to preserve its extension records. This rule applies only to records stored by the extension and cannot exclude matching Chrome history from time-range cleanup.
06 / Export records
Open Export, select a date range, choose grouped or detailed records, and export a CSV file.
CSV files can be stored or analyzed outside the extension. The current version cannot import them to restore records.
